Tabanus reinwardtii  Reference

Only a few individuals of this horse fly have been captured to date. The species is found throughout the southern extremities of Canada. It is infrequently collected as an adult, perhaps because of its retiring and non-aggressive behaviour. Larvae are among the most commonly collected Tabanidae (Teskey, 1990).
